COURSE OBJECTIVE

Help to retain high quality and more experienced workers by providing a clear career progression path and due recognition. It will allow one to move from a basic skilled worker to a registered CoreTrade Tradesman specialising in specific trades, then progress to become a registered CoreTrade Foreman, and eventually a CoreTrade Supervisor. Registration also recognises workers for their competence and experience in their respective trades. It also helps to fulfil specific project requirements on the number of foreman to be deployed.

COURSE OUTLINE

8 hours of theory training, with different languages catered to their demand. The course concludes with a 0.5-day test to assess candidates’ understanding of the knowledge in this field. By enrolling in the Upgrading course, candidates will successfully pass out as a foreman and be classified in this category by BCA (Building Construction Of Authority). This worker will posses the authority to supervises and co-ordinate a group of tradesmen in a particular trade.
